Frequently Asked Questions
Can I email the Braid Health team with questions?
Yes, we would like you to let us know about your progress and ask any questions/concerns you have to make it as easy as possible for you to stay consistent and committed to your program. We do ask that if the response is longer than a couple paragraphs that you schedule a consultation.
How much should I budget for lab testing?
Laboratory testing is very individual and planned on a case by case decision. Allow for $600-$1000 for lab testing costs.
How does the lab testing work?
The lab testing is typically done at home with the exception of blood work which will require a blood draw. We will direct you to a lab that coordinates that for you. Many of the tests have shipping included in the cost of the kits. You will get detailed instructions on how to perform the tests. The investment is made prior to shipping out the test kits.
My doctor never shares my lab results with me – will I have access to them?
Yes, we want to make sure that you fully understand your lab results and that you can easily share them with your healthcare team if necessary. Most importantly, the video lab interpretation allows you to become more involved and engaged in your own care. We believe that an informed partner gets much better long-term outcomes and becomes an active participant in their health and wellness.
Do I still need a doctor?
Yes, we do not provide acute care services and we do not replace the services that your current general practitioner provides. We provide a stand-alone service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque and major credit/debit cards.
Can You Help Me?
Do you see children?
